Gynecomastia Grade 3

Home Gynecomastia Grade 3

Grade three describes gynecomastia which is more obvious. Here the edges of the breast become clear, with a distinct ‘angle’ in the skin at the start of the breast enlargement. In addition, in grade three there will be some redundant skin. This means that if the man chooses to have surgery to get rid of his gynecomastia, he may need to have this skin removed to provide the best cosmetic outcome. This makes the operation a longer and more technical procedure, but may provide the best long-term results.
